It was supposed to be a peaceful family picnic and we did have some fun doing silly things on the rocky beach. But it turned into an adventure when we decided to take a short cut back to where we parked our motorbike by climbing up what we thought was a little hill. It was a steep cliff covered with loose soil and bushes and Suni was pushed up from behind by her Mami while Daddy was looking for and clearing the way. Not until we came up to the top that we realised how dangerous it was but we had something to remember by.

Holiday in Luang Prabang
When we arrived in Luang Prabang (last year before Christmas), I said "I want to live here for a year!". I liked the sticky rice, Lao sausages, fresh tomato sauce and fruit tea. We went to the Bear Rescue Centre and I liked the waterfall too. We rode on a boat to see the Cave of the thousand Buddhas. I saw 2 elephants in a parade and I liked riding on a tuk-tuk with Grandma. - Suni
Nhờ đi Lào mà Suni biết ăn xôi và các món ăn khác của Lào. Cả nhà thích Luang Prabang, thành phố di sản Unesco, và Suni muốn ở lại đó cả một năm luôn.

Swimming lessons
This is from last summer because we haven't had any new blog entry for a whole year. Suni had enjoyed "swimming" before but with her water wings. Now she had "proper" swimming lessons with her face actually… in the water. She survived being in the pool with around 30 other kids, big and small, splashing about. After a lesson, we'd just walk out of the pool to swim in the sea. Very soon into the summer, Suni's face had a chocolate colour except around her eyes which were protected by her goggles.
Mới giữa mùa hè năm ngoái Suni đã đen thui, chỉ đỡ đen được chút xíu quanh hai con mắt vì đeo kính bơi, ai nhìn cũng tức cười.
